With this app you can rapidly calculate the necessary settings and requirements for a time-lapse shoot.
Suppose you have a good idea of what your time-lapse video will look like, i.e. how long it will run and how much ‘real’ time you will be squeezing into that space. Enter your desired settings and the app will tell you how much time you will need to allow for your shoot.
Or maybe you have a particular event that you want to condense into a high-impact, short movie (the setting up of a venue for a party, the erecting of a crane, etc.). You can enter the event duration and other settings and the app will tell you how long the clip will play. You can then modify these settings to achieve the desired result.
For example, suppose you want to create a 20-second time-lapse video in format 25P (25 frames a second), recorded with a frame interval of 5 seconds. Enter your settings and the app will tell you that to achieve this you will have to leave the camera running for 41 minutes and 40 seconds.
Alternatively, suppose you want to know the results of doing a time-lapse shoot of an event that will take 2 hours and you want your video to play at 25 frames a seconds, with an interval of 5 seconds. The app will tell you that the resulting video will run for 57 seconds.
